THE SUNLIT CALL TO CREATION *
Serious is as serious does,
A weighty air where purpose buzzes.
We press the start, the grand machine,
To chase our goals – both felt and seen.
Ambition’s tether pulls us tight,
Yet stirs us forth to seek the light.
Between the grave and freewheeling ways,
A yearning stirs, a soul betrays.
Crave we now a tender grace,
Security in love’s embrace.
Loosen the reins, O heart, be kind,
For harshest burdens are self-designed.
This fleeting phase of fire and cheer
Demands creation, bold and clear.
A spark may rise where embers fade,
Igniting dreams in the quiet shade.
Adorn, embellish, sketch anew,
And let creation’s spark imbue.
For when the Sun its path does wend,
Creation soothes; the soul ascends.
