“ASPIRATIONS FOR LIBERTY” – ’56 Hungarian Revolution Memorial

The sculpture commemorates the Hungarian Revolution and the people who fought and died for freedom, against a suppressive communist regime in of October l956. The subject symbolically expresses the struggle, the suffering, and the determination of these peoples for the aspiration for liberty during a difficult revolution. The memorial also exhibits a universal message that no matter how difficult the struggle of survival may be, man never surrenders hope for the future.
